Well, some of us work harder at it. Thankfully, speeding tickets in NZ are cheap. I think that one was around $65-$70 USD at the time. (Te Anau)

Fun fact: If there's no posted speed limit, the national limit outside of cities or towns is 100kmh. In freedom units, that's 62mph, which is better than our typical 45-55mph on two lane roads.

You mean to tell us a wide straight road that is trafficked less than a busy city street with curves and sharp turns is safer to drive 70mph on? No shite?

and yet, the District Attorneys in LA make millions from “speeding” tickets issued on the Interstate.......

That's a great tool for imagery. Rather than say 30 kids, it makes your brain envision a classroom full of children and THEN the statistic. It's more powerful-er and pretty clever.

Is it per year though or total since 2000? because if it's total, that's really not too bad.

So, I can't get a good read on whether or not to click this. How graphic is it?

Our company made a video a few years ago about the effects of speeding and texting while driving. It was along the same lines of this one but our VP was driving and his actual kids were in the back seat. Instead of flipping over a wall, he pulled out to make a left turn and was t-boned by an oncoming truck. Was a pretty fricked up video since alot of us knew him and his kids well.

Same here Scruffy. It's not the kids, it's the song usage as it occurred. We need stone mason regulation going forward. The future depends on it, we will not be stone walled.

side note: They have asians in N. Ireland?
