This is quite possibly the dumbest thread I've seen this week, and that's saying something.

Haven't spent much time on here this week, eh?

Yeah because the BIG 12 Playbooks are known for putting up points against DEFENSES???

Ohhhh wait,
You assumed they played defense in the big12...
I get it now!!!!

FYI OSU would get there assess waxed in the SEC and their offense would look as Mediocre as ours!

On a Final Note: Wasn't Les Miles the Head Coach at OSU, and believe it or not, he was KNOWN FOR BEING AN OFFENSIVE GENIUS in the Big 12..... Suckaaaaa

A good coach would know what the kid does well before offering him a scholarship.

First of all the question is worded terribly.

Every QB transfer or not has comfortibility with certain plays.

Good OC’s work with QBs again transfer or not on plays that QB’s execute well.

Good OC’s have playbooks versatile enough to account for most skill sets.

So it’s not QB’s bringing “plays” with them, it’s more working with the OC to learn which plays the QB can and does run well.

I would imagine that if the new coach did his due diligence he knows what system the transfer is coming from and how he will fit into the current system. If the coach is good, he probably has some of the same or very similar plays set up for the guy.

Wow... really? Last time I checked, Ohio State is in the Big 10, not Big 12. A little pause before posting and doing some fact-checking would do this board a world of good, in general.

I’m sure he and E have had some sit downs in the film room and some wrinkles have popped up. Burrows been around a high level program for 3 years and by all accounts is football smart, Ensminger isn’t the fool he’s made out to be. Reads, checks and progressions are most effective if they fit the mental makeup of the trigger man. Sullivan is neck deep in this too and he’s been around the block

Yea...this is not what he's asking dumbass. It's a legit question that is feasible and potentially productive if handled correctly. Where do you miserable fricks come from?

I'm sure Coach E has done this with Burrow especially with RPO's.

This is where his experience in a college-level RPO should be evident. His ability to get everyone set at the line (where does he want everyone), the calls/adjustments at the line based on the DEF alignment (pre-snap reads), and where to go with the ball based upon what the DEF slides to at the snap. His ability to think quickly, ID where he wants to go, and deliver the ball to the right target was likely developed at OSU (via coaching, game tape study, practices/scrimmages, and yes limited playing time), but collectively it should be very beneficial as he now employs Coach E's scheme (plays).

Keep it simple early-on Sunday night. Let JB complete some passes and get into a rhythm. Set the pace with our play-calling and execution. Be the hunter, and not the hunted.

Les Miles brought all of his plays over from the 70's.

Pretty amazing those 70's plays were good enough for 114 wins in 11 plus seasons.
