I believe Ingram, Taylor, and Davis are all suspended indefinitely. Are all their cases under investigation still? Any chance they come back a few weeks into the season, or at any time during the season?

I'd be really surprised if he comes back. In fact, I hope he doesn't. I am all for 2nd chances, in some situations even 3rd chances, but there are some things that do not deserve a second chance.

Who knows. I still wonder what O meant when he said [at the presser when Fulton news came out] how he was hoping for some more good news.

The ex admitted that she lied? Just another girl trying to get back at their ex that pissed them off. Even if she were telling the truth, innocent until proven guilty? So why should we believe that allegation with ZERO proof?

Some thought the Ingram issue could get resolved soon. Would be huge if true.

The only person claiming she lied is Davis’ lawyer.

Is there any proof that he did that other than what was said?

She has medical records, photos and has not dropped charges.

Don’t want him back. Dude drove a getaway car in an armed robbery.

She said she lied. So, she’s obviously lying about one thing or the other. Doesn’t necessarily mean he didn’t abuse her. Abused woman recant all the time. This will rightfully require more investigation.

He’s not in prison is he? Innocent until proven guilty is a legal term. It means the state can’t punitiveely incarcerate you until they have proven your guilt. It has nothing to do with LSU—they don’t have to abide by that standard, nor should they. Think about the backlash if they let him play, he becomes an integral part of the offense, then gets convicted in November(for example). Then LSU looks like sell-your-soul-to-the-Devil for wins Urban Myer. Not to mention, they’d have to mess up the offense mid season after a starter leaves. LSU is doing the prudent thing letting it play out.

Why do you assume there is “ZERO proof”? I’m not sure they would have arrested him without something more than her statement. They could have hospital records, text messages, witnesss, etc...We don’t know. We all hope none of this happened, and is just the result of a woman scorned. But those of you who think her recantmet(which we haven’t read) to Davis’s lawyer, no less, means he absolutely didn’t do I it and should automatically be re-instated to the football team are naive at best. Maybe a little stupid.

Ingram could if the details of his situation come out. If it's a Jeremy Hill situation then he'll play.

If Taylor and Davis's charges are accurate then neither one of them will ever play for LSU again.

Taylor? No chance.

The other two? Maybe.

No, he did not. It was a burglary of a closed business. It's still a crime and he shouldn't be allowed back if convicted, but damn, there's a difference.

A good defense attorney could work around this.

You sure about that? If you found out you were very wrong, would that change your opinion?

I really wish more people knew the difference between a robbery and a burglary. No, Taylor was not a part of an armed robbery. He was alleged to be a part of a burglary

You are right, a burglary is much more accepted
