Lol that says his tOSU contract states he must report it. Not that OH or USCode requires it.

Do you have the ability to read and comprehend English?

A complete joke. Fulton probably thought the test was for weed, it’s not like we haven’t done that before. Test is negative for PED’s. Yet Urban covers up wife beaters and it’s nothing more than a slap on the wrist. A complete joke.

Did O make a TitleIX complaint on Ingram?

That "alleged aggravated sexaul assault" happened while he was in high school not on campus so it would not have been to the knowledge of O.

Unless he specifically told O.

The comparison highlights the broken system that is college football

Obviously Meyers case isn’t a ncaa deal at all

Dude I appreciate the aggressive defense in light of certain false info, but you are dead wrong.

To the extent Meyer “broke” anything it was terms of his contract.

He broke no local, state or federal law. Are you still suggesting he did?

Guess I misunderstood, by breaching Title IX I was taking it as a breaking of the law itself. Not just the contract.

Stand corrected.

It's absurd to suspend a freshman who didn't even fail the test for 2 f-ing years.

I mean 1 year is severe enough, but 2 full years? They need to seriously chill out.

I think the Fulton suspension is ridiculous but the comparison here doesn't really make any sense

I agree, but the closest thing is Urban has been doing this for long enough and is much older and running a major program. And he only gets suspended 3 games for hiding whatever went down.. or not being as forthcoming as he should..

And Fulton, as a Freshman, makes a mistake, but doesn't even fail the test, and he gets 2 freaking years. He should have been granted a waiver after serving the first season, regardless what the penalty was. It's just absurd of a penalty for a Freshman mistake.

Isn’t there an asterisk in the NCAA bylaws that says freshmen don’t have to abide by the same rules?

Davis is a better comparison.

Kennedy got shot while Nixon resigned. Sort of like your dumb comparison!

You guys just refuse to understand the difference. It's like y'all are taking a 15 year olds brain to rationalize this.

See the difference?

I'm curious. Explain to me how the NCAA makes money off college football. The NCAA has nothing to do with TV contracts. Those deals are made by each conference or school. They have no control over bowls other than to sanction their existence. Those deals are also controlled by conferences and schools. They do sell team merchandise but that's a drop in the bucket compared to TV and Bowl money. The NCAA doesn't even recognize a national champion in the top division of football. So I'm wondering....how does the NCAA make money off big boy football? Enlighten me.

He didn't "make a mistake". He cheated. Don't act like he accidentally tripped over the vacuum cleaner cord.

I also believe two years is excessive, but it was a published punishment for a published rule. They have to enforce it.

I would like to see the rule changed to one year for cheating and one year for PEDS. That way Fulton would only have gotten one year.

One broke NCAA rules

One broke rules of his institution..

OSU protected their cash cow... if there was an NCAA rule against what Urban did he would have gotten hammered.

What was the punishment meted out to other NCAA athletes that attempted to cheat or cheated on drug tests?

get over it....

The NCAA did not suspend UM his own school did. Why is that so hard to understand
