I don't buy that a 17 year old "boy" can't properly consent to sex.
I mean legally that might be the case, but I mean come on, when I was 17 I would have run across broken glass to get that chick.
It's still messed up on her part but the idea that he was just some non-consentual victim strikes me as not true. Seems like he realized he could get money out of her later and did.
I upvoted your post because of course a 17 year old CAN be assaulted. Anyone can be assaulted, no matter the age or gender.
I'm just saying that a 17 year old can give valid consent and I highly suspect he consented to everything that was going on int hat room at the time, but that's just speculation on my part. I think that's where all the "mockery" is coming from, the consent vs. non-consent question. The post you were replying too was poorly phrased.

The people in this thread interjecting their own beliefs and what they would've done onto a victim is honestly weird as frick at best and creepy at a minimum.
The idea that women can rape men is just completely foreign to them. It's a good reason why it gets less reported than men raping women.

It kinda side steps the issues of power, age and coercion.
