A lot is going to depend on how much O actually lets Ensminger work his offense. Steve doesn't seem like the type that would put up with that for too long.

I actually don't think Ensminger is going to be a disaster. What he did in 2016 as interim OC with the mess of Cameron's playbook was actually impressive. He cleaned it up pretty quickly.

I'm holding out hope that we're efficient and effective enough on offense to let our D win games. But if we're 3 and out city on offense, then it's gonna get ugly.

LSU is 14-1 in the last 15 openers. Last loss set the wheels in motion for Les's departure. And this game is pretty much in our own backyard.

Miami is a MUST win for Orgeron, no two ways about it. He needs a good showing with his guy running the offense.

I love statements like this. They are so far removed from reality, I wonder about the people that make them.

LSU will turn these polls upside down after we kick Miami's arse week one. Then they will turn it upside down after week 3. frick em we winning it all this year

Something I'll be curious to see is if we win, how far up do we move. It's a foregone conclusion the college football world has no respect for O. Even if we win big, I doubt we jump more than 2 or 3 spots.

He is literally there to be a yes man and to build the offense around what the HC wants.

Oh yes, lsu has fallen so far despite not playing a game. A solid win over Miami and they skyrocket in the polls. Everyone is waiting to see what they look like. Really that simple.

We will lose at least 5 games. Hope I’m wrong. But I’m not.

Of course they will. I think the comments are more about the national respect for LSU. But, as you say, win and that shite goes away.

You said it. All O and company need to do is go out and prove everyone wrong on the field. Come out and beat Miami soundly and a lot of the "haters" are kept at bay for a while. Pretty simple stuff.

Bs. A big win by lsu against #8 will see lsu jump up to around #15. Bookmark it. People don't know what to expect, it's really that simple. An arse kicking by lsu and they will be the talk of the weekend.

Having 4 teams with 6 losses last year ranked ahead of us is a joke in my opinion.

Isn't this basically every coordinator and coach in the sports world that works under the HC? It's he HC's operation. You don't do what he wants, you're out.

Yeah, at No. 25 it looks like they expect us to go 8-5. Something in that range.
