Battlefield V preorders have been low

Many are saying the game already failed.
I’m fairly conservative but am I alone in not caring that there are female soldiers in the game?
I don’t give a shite about BF single player campaigns and in multiplayer, I’m just looking for a fun game with large maps, and good vehicle and weapon varieties.
I’ve never played these games for a history lesson and because unless your autistic, you know the general story of WWII.
I’m not preordering yet, but I will be getting this for PC

People are smarter and don't preorder as much, plus the PC community has Origin Access Premiere so no need to preorder.

Yea, heard someone has been fired already. I may try the Amazon preorder trick for the beta, but I’m def not that excited after the alpha. Unfortunately BR will make or break this game, even though i think operations is legit

I'll say it again, people were ready for a modern shooter and aren't as excited for another period game.

I really liked how good BF1 came out, especially after Hardline. Though I’ve been wanting a Bad Company 3 for years.

Has nothing to do with Female soldiers
Has a lot to do with a bionic Female soldier who can out run tanks, leap from 3 stories, and destroy half the germans with her pinky.
Male, nerd gamers love being able to play as female characters, ever seen the mods for rpg games,etc? The forced super female who could kick the bionic mans arse is what did it.
Battlefield fans are big into a more realistic game, that keeps with the time period.

The developers telling off gamers never helps anything as well. It's like they forget where their paychecks ultimately come from.

This is a big part of the problem. These developers are uber nerds and can't resist shite like this. Look at COD and the jetpacks and shite when everyone just wanted modern warfare. A period shooter is boring to them, they need some fantasy sci-fi bullshite to satisfy the nerd in them. They literally can't help themselves when left to their own judgment. Supposedly BO4 was redone at the last minute to remove jetpacks and other stuff. It will be a bust too. And remember these companies are located in areas likely to be giant SJW bubbles.

Between not understanding what the majority of players want and a history of pushing out an unfinished product, no wonder people aren't pre-ordering.
My only hope for this year is the guys at Rockstar aren't pussies and come thru with RDR2.

This is 100% true. We just dont like SJW forced down our throats. I love the BF games, I just want a modern one.

I think it has more to do with linking WW1 being VERY close to what WW2 has to offer. Its not that much different really.

I don’t get the appeal of a WWI game.
Exit trench, run across No Man’s Land, get shot / gassed / hit by artillery, die. Respawn, repeat.
At least WWII had a variety of battlefields and climates, from the North African deserts to temperate Western Europe to the frozen Russian Front, to the island and jungle warfare of the Pacific Theater.
