Interesting. Husky stadium and CenturyLink Field (Seahawks) are two loudest football stadiums and they’re in the Pacific Northwest. Not exactly a football hotbed.

Visited there for work for years and they really love their Hawks and Huskies. Their fans are like LSU and Tulane as far as hatred for WSU. It’s that bad.

Wanna bet? These people up here are absolutely rabid about their football teams. Husky Stadium is definitely as loud as Tiger Stadium, and it sways a bit in the upper deck when they get rockin'.

CenturyLink has held and may still hold the world record for the loudest stadium.

In short, you don't know what you're talking about.

Probably something to do with the stadium design.

I just can't see Husky Stadium being that loud. But Century Link was actually designed to hold in the sound.

Husky stadium

Roof deflects the sound back in

Oregon has landscape to help them as they are below grade and have aluminum seats or some such that amplifies the sound.

Husky Stadium has a partial cover that helps reflect the sound back down.

It's also possible to party on your boat in the lake and then tie up to walk to the game.
