Well, in the case of Russian gulags (labor camps for those in Rio Linda), it was oftentimes work yourself to death.

It ain’t worth living in that shite. I dated a girl in college who’s family was from Latvia, former ussr. The living conditions they described were hard to believe.

Besides, I garden and hunt and fish so I can survive without much in the way of freebies. The authorities will be focusing on the urban areas and body disposals in the cities for years and years. My rural area will be free for a long time.
