Best Brand of Canned Tomatoes

Been wanting to make a nice pot of jambalaya or gumbo. Which brand of canned tomatoes do you prefer?
Just kidding.
I'm setting up to make some homemade pizzas and I've been experimenting with canned tomatoes for sauce. I bought several varieties of crushed tomatoes and pizza sauce and then I ordered some SMT crushed tomatoes.
They are made in Pennsylvania but are the same breed as San Marzanos. They've been criticized for misleading buyers that they were legitimate San Marzanos from Italy, but I find they are outstanding!
Only trouble is, I bought 6 28 once cans on Amazon Prime for $24 with free shipping. Now they are off Prime and cost twice as much if you include shipping.
I got some leads off of PizzaMaking.com, but was underwhelmed by St Stanislaus Alta. Cento San Martanos tasted metallic. I haven't tried the rest.
Anybody got some tried and true for pizza?

I go with Sprouts branded crushed tomatoes for pizza

I've used Cento and Kirkland, but if I lived in NOLA like you, I would see what Central Grocery had.

Fedeli's is the best, sometimes difficult to source.
Redpack trails Fedeli's - but I prefer them over the SMT's.

I like the regular Cento whole tomatoes, which I crush by hand. No need to pay extra for their San Marzano version. The regular ones are great for me.

For those that care about such things, Costco's Kirkland brand of tomato paste, tomato sauce and diced tomatoes are all Organic. I use them all as they are very reasonably priced and I find their tomato sauce to be one of the thickest out the can as I've ever had. Their diced tomatoes are a bit larger than I prefer and that is all they offer. I prefer the petite dice varieties, but I just drain the cans and chop them up a bit more to suit my taste.
The biggest drawback to Central Grocery is where they are located with parking and such in the Quarter. And you just know they won't be supermarket priced at their location.

Pomi in the carton.

For pizza sauce I like to use tomato puree.
Add a little salt, pepper and oregano and spread it on your dough. It will be perfect.

For pizza sauce I really enjoy Pastorelli's out of Chicago but they have limited distro down here. If I can't get Pastorelli's, I go with Dei Fratelli.

I can easily find the Pomi, but my usual grocery spots don’t carry the SMT. Where are you buying it?

I went through a pizza making stint years ago, mostly Chicago style, and ended up liking the Escalon 6-1 brand. That stuff is magic on a pizza.

Zuppardo's had it for a short time, but not anymore.
