No the appeals court will uphold this verdict however the bankrtupcy court will knock it down because that's where Monsanto is headed. There are over 5000 cases like in the US alone not to mention the thousands of other lawsuits and criminal inquiries in other countries.

And Net Neutrality is the end of the internet. No we wouldn't. Quit being so dramatic.

If California used more roundup, maybe the place wouldn't be burning to the ground most of the time.

This guy should pay 300 million for slandering Monsanto

None of those studies are definitive. And absolutely nothing demonstrates this guy's cancer was caused by Round up. Are we supposed to ignore a lifetime of exposure to countless other chemicals and settle on one? Ridiculous.

No one in the science/health community acknowledges the Séralini study that was the base for a lot of these opinions. I think he eventually redacted his study on rats after he got called out for using a strain of rats that naturally have a very high rate of developing cancer and trying to link that to glysophate

Taleb should rename his twitter “I hate Monsanto”. He’s been railing against the danger of gmos for years and it got personal with Monsanto so I’d take his delight in this outcome as more of joy in seeing his enemy wounded.
I find the science on all this convoluted and difficult to have a clear opinion of who’s right/wrong. Suffice to say there have been questionable actions on both sides of this battle.

We would now though. Sorry, Monsanto might be the GMO boogie man, but we cannot live without glyphosate or 2,4-d.

This is cosmic karma for Monsanto screwing with small farmers and bankrupting them for patent violations.

I have no problems with GMOs. We way overuse chemicals though.
A positive of GMOs is they’ve decreased the need for pesticides.

The absurdity of granting a patent on a fricking seed.
