How is it that the NFL players protesting on company time is defended?
They just choose not to, because those players are worth more to their bosses than you are to yours
It's not a tough concept

I don't have a contract.
I don't have a union.
And I'm not a naturally gifted athlete that brings in millions of dollars.
I am easily replaceable.
That's why I can't protest at work if the boss says no.

It's good to see that the NFL is still keeping you guys up at night.

It's like they don't understand being outraged about a protest validates the protest. It would have vanished organically if it wasn't constantly in the news.

If I walked into work and staged some protest that my employer disagrees with, I would be reprimanded. If I continued to do it, I’d be fired.
I’m sure the same goes for all of you.

The players are unionized. Does the collective bargaining agreement they have allow these acts or not? It’s a contracts issue. Not an emotional one. I am so tired of all of this babbling about it. Look to the contracts.
Txtiger trying to play above the fray is simply a result of his sad lack of self-worth. You have something to offer, buddy. You don’t need to pursue your delusions to feel worthy.

They absolutely can. And they may get fired.
Let's see if the owners start firing star players.

Because there is no threat of being fired. That’s why.

What if the contract allows them to penalize the players?

That worthless POS Roger Goodell for one. If that dipshit had a spine none of this would be an issue. He’s like the Anti-Pope of the NFL.

Here I have a better question, why do some government employees think they can have their own private email server and use that server to send and receive classified/SAP documents?
