Couldn’t give less of a frick about gay marriage and I think you should have to fill out an application to have a kid so I’m obviously pro-abortion. I’m not ok with late term murder however

That isn't specific to the left. At this point, it seems to be everyone.

That is pretty much only a progressive tactic as of right now.

Do you have an instance of right wing individuals threatening violence to get speakers canceled?

Now, it may become a right wing tactic at some point.

It usually takes a while for the right to pick up on progressive tactics, i.e. getting people fired over tweets or posts on Facebook.

C'mon. Really? Trump takes to Twitter to lash out at people all day everyday. Conservatives do the same thing on Facebook or Twitter or on this message board. Hell, it wasn't even that long ago that the George Bush Administration was saying either you're with us or you're with the terrorists.... right before the Patriot Act, that is

Smaller military/Less world policing (not really a modern dem platform tbh...)
Cops should be held accountable
Anti-war on drugs
Protect and conserve environment
Pro-choice except late 2nd/3rd
Pro-LGBTQ
Pro-easy immigration/open borders (its a spending problem and a tax system problem)
Pro-green infrastructure/renewables

I just like to see government be accountable, efficient, and responsibly spend money on things that benefit the people and not corporate plutocrats. Dems fail there miserably.

Seems like a winning platform.. socially liberal, anti-war, low taxes, fiscally conservative. Unfortunate the evangelicals and zionists own the republican party

That isn’t violently attempting to silence opposition...unless you consider words to be equatable to violence.

And how is what you listed actions preventing the opposition from speaking?

Again, do you have any instances of right wing individuals threatening violence or attacking progressive speakers or attacking members of an administration for their views?

Like Sanders said recently, has anyone in her position ever required SS protection before?

Because the left is violently silencing people? Lol. Youre going to have to do better than that.

Everyone's always trying to yell over each other right now. I don't think anyone is literally stopping others from speaking out. If youre using antifa as an example we're talking about less than .01% of the population or even less than that.

Please provide examples of leftist dogma being silenced. I can provide multiple examples of the propaganda MSM and liberal colleges silencing conservatives.

Gay marriage. If you work and contribute to society, I think you have a right to coexist as a married gay couple especially when filing taxes. Just keep religion out of it, and don’t shove it down my throat.

Interesting, gay marriage, keep religion out of it?

Marriage was a rite that was born from religious teachings yet let's keep religion out of it?

No, the devious nature of the ruling to legalize same sex marriage was absolutely unnecessary and the LGBTQ.....XYZ folks knew it. They could have had a legally sanctioned ceremony with all the benefits of marriage years before but that wasn't going to work because it was the word "marriage" that they were after. They needed the word "marriage to normalize their relationship which they believed would encourage society to accept their relationship. Even that wasn't good enough, they prefer everyone endorse and advocate for their causes. If you don't readily embrace same sex marriage your deemed intolerant and you're the problem.

You serious? Riots, threats of violence, etc., in response to certain speakers or politicians.

Are you acting like this hasn’t been happening?

I am against the death penalty and I support gay civil unions. I also support equality, all the way down to the draft.

Senator Bernie Sanders also spoke out "I don’t like this. I don’t like it. Obviously Ann Coulter’s outrageous — to my mind, off the wall. But you know, people have a right to give their two cents-worth, give a speech, without fear of violence and intimidation."

Sanders went on to say, "To me, it’s a sign of intellectual weakness. If you can’t ask Ann Coulter in a polite way questions which expose the weakness of her arguments, if all you can do is boo, or shut her down, or prevent her from coming, what does that tell the world?

What are you afraid of — her ideas? Ask her the hard questions. Confront her intellectually. Booing people down, or intimidating people, or shutting down events, I don’t think that that works in any way.”

They don’t actually believe in it.

Their ideology is a religion and they’re perfectly comfortable using goverment to impose it.

They’re doing what their ancestors did at Plymouth.
