The new facility is slated to have all the bells and whistles you’d come to expect in a modern facility like arcade, gaming area in the players lounge, barber shop, new position and team meeting rooms, and all that kind of stuff.
GoGamecocks points out that the new facility will also have a few unique features as well…

We’re told there’s a de facto car wash before players enter the pool and a full-height dryer as they leave the showers

And player lounge, complete with gaming systems, recording studio, movie theatre and arcade

How is it possible to utterly fail at flarda and actually build a successful program at South Carolina?
Just how?
Just how?

I'm sure there's no way the tracks produced from such a studio could contain objectionable material.

These poor, poor D1 athletes are nothing more than slaves that need to be paid 6 figures for being forced into these kind of conditions.

I assume it will be named the Hootie and the Blowfish Recording Studio.

Less pressure. You get fired at UF for 8-4. You get a statue in Columbia for being 8-4.

Would you let someone make millions of dollars off your brain injuries in exchange for four years of access to a cool weight room and recording studio?

You say this as if they don’t all have a choice?

Yeah. That hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of free tuition to high profile universities and being absolutely pampered has to be rough. Poor guys.

Why do you think Mcelwain was so successful with muschamps players. He was building something there just needed another year.

i mean, its smart. keep the players in the facility and you can keep everything in house when they frick up

Only thing it is missing is a mini 5 Points.

Dudes winning 7 games a year in one of the shittiest divisions in all of college football.. let’s pump the brakes on the ‘Muschamps got it figured out’ narrative.

Are there any other means for them to monetize their football talents if they are ineligible to enter the NFL draft?
Major D1 athletes are definitely not poor or starving, but I do think they should be able to capitalize off of their talents. What the universities bring in off of a major talent far trumps what they have invested in the player. If a player can make money off of the brand they created on the playing field, why not let them?
Granted, I have no idea how a system would be created to do such

A team that went 3-9 in 2015 and lost to The Citadel won 6 games in Muschamp's first year and 9 games in his second year, all the while being within 150 miles of Clemson and UGA, one a national champion and the other a national championship runner-up within that same time period. He has done about as well as any coach could have in 2 years here.

An average SEC school makes so much money off its unpaid student athletes that they can afford to build them a compound.
