I brought my dad's SI Swimsuit magazine with Heidi Klum on it to school in 3rd grade to share with my buddies. "Heidi Klum Straddles the Equator" was the caption and I'll never forget it.

Some loser ran up to my mom's car in the carpool line and told her I had it because I wouldn't let him look at it.

Got a nice whoopin from her and a wink from my dad

Was that the first bodypaint issue? If so, I remember it well.

I guess Mr. Pecker is a MFing judgemental rocket scientist and has this all figured out. Have a nice day.

So this list just criticizes things everyone has done at some point but offers nothing to do instead of these things.

You haven't caught on to Pecker's shtick yet? His idea is not to promote good parenting, it is to promote the idea that not becoming a parent is the superior choice. So yes, he would list every single variation of discipline as being wrong.

It usually turns into a decent discussion amongst other posters, but I think it's an insecurity thing with him.

you don't know me at all if you think I couldn't go on a rant about why discipline is important and the forms of discipline I find to be necessary and effective.

That has no relevance to my post. You only listed "wrong" ways to discipline. You chose to post half the discussion, which was the predictable half for you.

Of course I don't know your weird arse. I know your shtick, though.

Well this might sound crazy but please hear me out. This thread is about discipline mistakes. So I listed discipline mistakes.

Now, you may not think I understand what it's like to be a parent, and that's fine, but I've seen enough bad parents to know that you guys certainly don't have things figured out.

Shut up dude. If you ever have kids you will hopefully laugh at how self absorbed you are.

Mom was a teacher

According to the OP of this thread, your mom is the most vile, lazy, pathetic person on the planet and has no right to claim expertise in anything besides being a whiny baby back bitch who hates any semblance of hard work.

And don’t even get him started on his opinion of teachers.

Just curious Pecker - what part of your arduous work day provides the time to research common parenting advice and posting incessantly on Tiger Droppings?

Easy to criticize until you’ve walked a mile in the parents’ shoes.

Why should doing what’s expected like chores and not being a shot be rewarded? In the real world we don’t get a trophy just because we made it to work on time or do our jobs

Not true. You get paid for those things. That direct deposit is your trophy.
