How prolific do you think this duo can be in relation to other Tiger duos?

Since LSU has not had very many pass happy offenses, we don’t have a ton of prolific duos...but a few stand out.

Jones to Hamilton
Risher to Martin
Hodson to Davis
Hodson to Moss
Davey to Reed
Mett to OBJ
Mett to Landry

Maybe missed a few...just off the top of my head.

I think Giles is special and has lots of experience...so Burrow is the wildcard it seems. If he’s as good as advertised...this could be a special combo.

Oh, very prolific indeed. The real question, as always, is whether it will be.

How could you not mention the most prolific duo in Tigers history in terms of touchdowns, Russell to Bowe

Rohan to Reed was fun to watch also

If you are looking for an epic wide receiver quarterback combo you have the wrong quarterback. I’ve watched every minute of football Joe Burrow has played and he isn’t that guy. He is more of a Tom Brady or Drew Brees. The type who has a different leading receiver every game. He is an expert at reading a defense and taking what he is given. Joe’s favorite receiver is the guy who is open. He protects the football, throws away from coverage and stays ahead of the chains. He doesn’t lock onto a guy and force the football into tight widows. He spreads the ball around far too much to put up big numbers to one receiver.
