This. Plus, it's not like it's stick construction filled with sheetrock and stud partition walls. It's basically all solid concrete, which makes interior walls nearly impossible to move, and this prevents new electrical, cable, internet, and gas, and water lines from being run inside of the walls. This greatly limits its re-purposing potential, or at least makes it far more expensive.

Not only that, but those walls has housed some serious carnage and bad gris-gris.
Haunted is an understatement, I wouldn't rent it for $250 post reno.
