hopefully it’s because it’s the last time he is in an Arsenal kit - need to sell some of these guys and bolster the squad.

the Zaha mess is going to go on for a while, but hopefully he can push on the CP side and force a move. his play would solve a LOT of our winger/lack of dribblers problem.

if, and it’s a long shot, we could get Tierney and Zaha, still need a CB and a CM, or you roll the dice and hope one of the youngsters is ready to step up.

wouldn’t be opposed to sell Mo and bring back Bennacer.

Blog talked about that tactic. With gazidus we spewed how much money we had and spent 90 mil on the mustafi, xhaka, Perez combo.

Absolutely insane when you think about it.

So I'm trying to separate the kronkes not spending money to they had the wrong people in place to spend what we did have.

Just look at ospina, finally got him off the books but for barely anything.

And the 70 for zaha could come with player swaps. They were interested in chambers and jenkinson in the past. Also talks of sending Smith Rowe on loan too.

Personally I don’t think Zaha is worth anywhere near that fee. He’s a slightly better Iwobi to be honest. Great dribbler and can take people on but lacks the finishing to demand that type of fee.

I don’t think we should make a new thread until they sign someone over 19 years old

Seeing tweets that William Saliba to Arsenal is imminent. He will stay at Saint-Etienne on loan next season. Since he is heading back to France, the majority of the fee is said to be paid next year, which leaves most of their budget intact for this summer.

Also, looks like Edu will be named technical director soon. Brazil just appointed Juninho Paulista in Edu's old role of general coordinator.
quote:

Edu’s role is viewed as crucial within the Arsenal hierarchy, with his two main responsibilities to be to lead the recruitment department & define & implement a playing style & identity across Arsenal’s first-team & youth sides.
Emile Smith Rowe, Joe Willock, Eddie Nketiah, and Reiss Nelson were promoted to the first-team & received first-team squad numbers.

William Saliba is only 18, and will be loaned back to St. Etienne.

Former Arsenal midfielder Edu is returning to the club as its first technical director.

The 41-year-old leaves his role with the Brazilian Football Confederation to move to the Emirates Stadium.

He said: “Arsenal has always had a special place in my heart and I’m thrilled to be returning to this great club in this new role. We have a strong squad and some very talented young players with fantastic people at every level. I’m looking forward to helping make a difference.”

Looks like Spurs may be making a late push for Saliba. May just check back in at the beginning of August lol

Picked the worst time haha. At least under Wenger we had a long drought but played some amazing fricking football at times.

Now we have our club captain refusing to do preseason and breaking his contractual obligations.

And KSE is the full owners now and really don't give a shite about actually winning.

New kits are good though. Looking forward to Monday. Have so many red ones, want to get the yellow.

We may have the worst transfer business in the entirety of world football. What team has both Alexis Sanchez & Aaron Ramsey and sells them for a combined 0£ and Mhiki.... both easily worth at LEAST £40M. I think those lack of deals has screwed our cash flow and transfer abilities the past two seasons.

Worst transfer business, worst owner. I may not even bother with next season. I’m pretty busy anyway and the team is giving me no reason to pay attention. I can be disappointed with LSU instead.
