I mean they picked up Torreira, and Guendouzi for fairly cheap, if they can land a couple more studs it will certainly help out.
Whereas, others are on the opposite line of though, where Arsenal needs to bag a top dollar player.

I’ll say it now if we don’t sell Auba this summer we’ll regret it come October. For all the goals he gets, he has tons of chances. Not getting any younger
You want to throw away over half of our offensive production? This is a terrible take. Kane misses lots of chances. Suarez misses lots. Salah misses chances. I don’t get this way of thinking. Dude scores 25+ goals in a season but you don’t want him. Smh

imo guendouzi only attribute is his effort
he doesnt have the pace nor dribbling skills, and responsible for many unforced turnovers...cheap for a reason
not shocked at the result, predicted this outcome when chelsea won their semifinal
ive said all along this squad has been cheaply built...only players worth anything is laca, torriera, and auba
everyone else are players who would probaly find it difficult to start at any midtier team in the league, too slow and too timid with the ball at their feet
downward spiraling effect has been visible for a few years now and sadly i think itll continue in that direction

The guy has 2 goals in 13 games vs the big 6 opponents. Also comparing him to other top strikers.. Big chance conversion (15+ big chances)
Aguero 59%
Aubameyang 32%
Barnes 42%
G Jesus 24%
Jimenez 44%
Kane 55%
Lacazette 27%
Lukaku 47%
Mitrovic 39%
Salah 46%
Pogba 53%
Rashford 27%
Firmino 47%
Vardy 41%
Wilson 28%
I don’t hate guy, I see the production but when that speed he has begins to fall off we’ll have another contract On the books that we would regret. I’m also ok with keeping him too.

problem is realistically speaking who are we going to attract that has his level of production if we sell him
not going to fault him for not scoring in big 6 games, our entire offense sputtered in those games, the talent gap was noticeable

What was Giroud’s conversion rate against top 6 teams? I’m pretty sure it was also terrible. Also, Lacazette is lower.

It’s like we expect top 4 results with a mid table budget and mid table squad.

I imagine it was that why he was predominantly a backup this year. This summer is goin to tell what type of team we have going forward.

He does have a lot of effort, but he's actually good at holding the ball, recycling possession and playing passes forward. Too much of our game runs through Xhaka, who is a liability otherwise.
The players we've let go these last couple of years has led to some terrible decisions. We should have sold Ozil and Sanchez. We should have kept Wilshere and Ramsey. Who else do we have who can dribble from deep, like Wilshere, or make off ball runs like Ramsey?
Between Mkhi and Ozil's wages, we could get five players at 100,000. That means the club isn't poor, but it is poorly run. If Kroenke wants to let the club fix itself, it's going to take a decade and we can't miss on an academy product nor can we miss on any transfer target. We will have to be literally perfect in rebuilding the team in order to compete.
We were a better team during the Banter era than we've been the last three years. It's amazing to me.

Was finally able to watch, but once it got to 4-1 I just fast forward it to see if we got one back.
This sucks.
This sucks.

I obviously want him for reasons, but y'all are seriously so stupid if you don't buy van de Beek.

Yeah it kind of is. We've spent money on this squad but just very poorly. Funny how we are supposed to be at the point we could spend and compete, but we look so much worse than those early Emirates teams.

Yeah he would solve a lot of problems. He's not coming here though.

If Cesc doesn't get injured so much, we would have won something, and then he doesn't leave, which doesn't cause the mass exodus. We were playing good football, with a functional midfield and a much better open play defense. It's amazing to me how things got terrible once Sanchez came into the team. Upset the balance, was moody, didn't trust his teammates. Wenger had to change the team to placate him, and now here we are, with no one who can carry the ball forward, and no wingers to speak of.

I didn't know Stan wasn't even at the game.
We are so fricked. He doesn't care. Yeah Chelsea may suck next season, but Everton and Newcastle are coming with money. We legit could be stuck as a mid table team as long as KSE owns Arsenal.

I may be in London for the Southampton game on November 23.
Has anyone ever been to a game at the Emirates? How easy/hard is it to get tickets for the match?

August: Liverpool away then Tottenham at home.
December/January: Chelsea then Manchester United at home.

Going to the Emirates for a single game is stupid expensive. First, you have to purchase a membership. That will run you I think 60 pounds. Then you have to figure out how to find a ticket to the game. There is no such thing as scalping in England, so you won’t be able to just buy a ticket outside the gate. There are on Facebook some arsenal ticket exchange groups, and those were promising while I was there, but in the end of the cost plus the membership was prohibitive.

Well, after looking at the logistics of our travel better, I don't think I would be able to make it on time for the 23rd either way. We are hitting Ireland and wanted to head to England for a game. My wife and I are travelling with some Liverpool fans. He's going to try and get tickets on the 30th at Anfield against Brighton. If it's not super expensive, I may just do that too. I'm all for just catching a match in England, whoever it may be.
