Trying to keep it around 2500 if possible, any recommendations on mattresses and stores to get good deals.

I'm sure a $2500 bed would be more comfortable than mine, but ours is from Sam's and I like it. We do have a topper and nice sheets/comforter set and pillows.

I am really hesitant on getting a mattress I cant see and lay on before purchasing it.

But I have heard good things about the ghostbed.

Wholesale Mattress Factory on Florida Blvd. it’s a rundown warehouse where they make the mattresses. I’ve bought several there and they’re the best I’ve ever owned. King pillowtop for $1000. It’s been mentioned here many times in the past.

+1

It looks like a shithole, but the dude will get you an excellent custom mattress for cheap. Also, if you want to adjust the firmness, you can bring it back and he'll adjust it for free.

I've seen it mentioned on here before and always thought it was a joke to send people to a squatter crackhead house.

How long have your mattresses lasted from there?

Kimpton mattress

Game changer in sleeping. I have two and will never go back to anything else.

I got one from mattress firm for about 900, that I am very happy with. I've only had it a few months though.

Wait until Bayou Classic week and check the shoulders of the spillway bridge.

I just bought a new bed in the last couple of weeks. It's perfect for me and I've been happy with it because I went to the store and tried it out.

I've bought mattresses online before. Don't do that. This is one of those purchases that you have to show up for.

There's been a discussion over the last year or so a about how online ratings for mattresses is a sham.

I’ve had a Serta icomfort for almost a year now. It’s really comfy and leagues better than my previous mattress but it does start to sag a little in the middle. Not a lot but enough to notice it. I would think all memory foam mattresses would sag after a year or so. I might try to walk around the edges to soften up them up a bit
