Of course I can. I think it’s pretty unlikely but it’s not impossible. Not many other coaches will be winning championships as long as saban is coaching. It is what it is. I didn’t agree with the Ed O hire, either, but we are past that. What’s the point of making these bullshite threads before the season starts? I know why. It’s because the OP seen fans start to have confidence for the season and have a positive outlook on the season and it killed him because he’s a typical O hater.

Okay, fair enough.

I didn’t see it much more than an off season thread questioning whether Orgeron will win a Natty.

Seems like Orgeron, in general, is a sensitive subject around here, to some.

You’re just miserable, I guess. Ed O has a 0% chance of getting fired right now unless he breaks some kind of rule. I hope you find peace with it or you’re in for a long miserable season or 3..

What crazier things have happened?

I'm pretty sure O winning a NC in the SEC would be the most unlikely event to occur in CFB history.

The thread was clearly more than asking if he’d win a natty. It was all about trashing O. I totally get the harsh opinions on him and I can’t say I disagree. Only a sensitive subject because people can’t get over him.

Should? No reason but there’s a chance They won’t fire him for the next couple years. Just trying to help you to see that.

Considering that there are like 4 active HCs with NCs, the odds say no.

But 116 of the 120 active HCs in college football fall into the category of non NC winning HCs so it doesn’t really prove all that much.

Gene Chizek won one, so O winning is possible. I just hope Joe Burrow is our Cam Newton.

We have as much talent or more than anyone in the league. The best DC in the nation and a good OC sit back and watch them roll. And other than at Ole Miss O has a good record. If not this year we win BC in 2019.

Says who? I'm not saying he isn't, but how the hell do we know? Based on his stints in the 80s?

I’m just curious, who exactly would you hire after this year that is obtainable and can beat Saban?

I see all this Jimbo BS, please people, he won’t ever beat Saban. Kirby ain’t leaving UGA, even though those fans were trashing his arse for “poor recruiting and only winning 8 games” in his first year......

Seriously Mr. The Baker, What hire would make you happy? I don’t need a breakdown of Os failures. Give me one guy that can recruit and scheme against Saban RIGHT NOW.....

I’m not sure if you agree with me or the OP, but my point is that I can name 10 HCs that are considered good, successful coaches that don’t have a NC.

So the lack of a NC, doesn’t necessarily mean that O sucks.

Inb4 “name 10”: (not in any particular order)

1) Kirby Smart
2) James Franklin
3) Jim Harbaugh
4) Mark Richt
5) Chip Kelly
6) Tom Herman
7) Dan Mullen
8) Bobby Petrino
9) Chris Peterson
10) Mark D’Antonio

This argument is retarded. If the fan base accepted mediocrity, CLM would still be the HC cuz we wouldn’t have made so much noise to fire him.

So how does a fan base begging for a NC winning HC to be fired equate to “accepting mediocrity” and allowing for shitty hires?

Do you not remember the "he talks like us!" Threads from Nov 2016?

30% of the fan base screamed for O simply on emotion instead of production. I assure you he wouldn't have been hired if public perception rejected the notion up front.

So, 'here on record', is that like what the insecure couples are doing on Facebook when they 'profess their love'?

Silly stuff. Heads up guys, if we haven't already gone all the way, we're turning in to a bunch of insecure pussies.
