This is exactly the question that should be asked when it comes to the o supporters and o haters. He may be a good guy and he may love LSU. He may be a great recruiter and he’s a LA native. He might hire the best coordinators and he might win some big games. But when it comes to competing against saban, smart, Swinney, and Fisher......it’s never going to change. All those teams will always have talent and even if we can match them, o doesn’t have the x’s and o’s ability to beat these guys in a playoff atmosphere. He never will. So was it a good or bad hire? Is the guy LSU needs? If the goal is to win a national championship, then no! It will not happen!

I think he'll beat Bama and get us to the playoff, perhaps win it. That would depend on if we can have success this season moving forward and our national appeal goes up so we can start recruiting nationally. If O can do that I have no doubt that he can win it.
