What's up with the yawning? Is that a common "symptom"?

It is very common. Opioids have some weird side effects when you detox.

Mine was sneezing. Oh god I sneezed 10 times in a row usually. Then the eye watering. God I feel for this guy. It’s pure hell. But he’s got it. I know he does.

You have this man. The absolute worst is the first 72 hours. Not saying it gets is a walk in the park after, but your flu-like symptoms will start to minimize. Hang in there.

Glad to see this thread pick up and the support you’re getting. I know it feels awful right now but a few days of an awful existence is better than a lifetime of an awful existence using. I was using a gram of heroin a day when I detoxed. You got this brother.

Yeah I would have like 5 minute long fits of sneezing every 15-20 seconds. shite was nuts. The worst part is no sleep though. Hours and hours go by and you think you are finally comfortable, and bam...you HAVE to move your legs or roll over or you just might jump out of your skin. Holy shite it was awful

Have you tried acupuncture? Seems like it would help.

How old are you? I have a lot of similar issues myself...disc degeneration, painful neck and tendonitis on my knees. I was given norcos but have yet to start taking them.

This is the worst part of the whole thing. It lingered for me for 2 weeks the first time I tried to get off. I ended up back on them because I didn’t flush the rest of the pills and after 2 weeks with maybe 10 hours of combined sleep, I took half a pill out of desperation just to go to sleep.

The second time, as a hail mary around day 8 or 9, I took a gabapentin and it worked. I don’t know if it would have worked earlier. I used it until I was sleeping on my own about day 15-16.

Only take them if you’re in serious pain. Skip days in between taking them.

That’s what I’m confused about. Was he just taking 325/10’s? And if so how many per day. It sounds like he’s making a mountain out of a molehill.

You are hands down the worst poster on this site. We can always depend on you to be the hemorrhoid in any thread that involves serious discussion.

Why do you do this? Why?

As you age, your body feels it. I'm 42 and feel everything. Keep the fight up. Everyone is pulling and praying for you.

Facilitate the release.

Soup or fruit or salad.

Get massages.

Long showers.

If you are not squeamish, an enema every couple of days the next week. 2 or 3.

If not enema how about a couple of prunes before bed?
