If someone carries a gun, they intend to break the law. Ban guns!

Do you not see how this is a slippery slope?

I’m arguing from the stance that banning masks is a 1st amendment issue. Freedom of speech.

Jesus Christ you are an idiot.

Are you okay with the government requiring you to wear a tracking chip? What about operating facial recognition databases and other info to create a real-time map showing your location? How about collecting your internet search history and creating a metaprofile on every citizen?

Republicans wanting less freedoms.. is very predictable

I’m a republican, I’m against this wholeheartedly. I want less of the government telling me what I can and cannot do under the guise that I MIGHT break the law

Mask laws won't solve the problem because the places that antifa riot will rarely enforce those laws.

Personally.. I think antifa should be dispersed anytime they publicly gather while masked. There is enough precedent now to know that every time antifa publicly gathers while wearing a mask, that they're going to riot and get violent.

After you disperse them, it'll be easier to see which ones are breaking the law, and arrest them. If they refuse to disperse.. arrest them.

See, sore loser lefties constantly use absurd examples in a lame attempt to prove their point.

I have no problem with convicted felons being required by the government to wear a tracking chip. Once you are convicted of a felon you give up certain rights.

If someone has been convicted of committing a felony, is suspected of committing a felony or suspected of being in the act of committing a felony then I have no problem with the government doing that.

After all, law abiding citizens have a right to have their government protect them from convicted felons.

I oppose the collecting of everyone's internet search history and creating a metaprofile on every citizen.

There is no probable cause for the government to do that.

What they "might" do isn't grounds for removing their right to protest. They moment they get violent, arrest them. That's how laws work in this country.

At least I thought so.

I'm smart enough to know the answer to my question.

Apparently, you don't know the answer.

At least when I wanted to change the law, I did it by going through the system.

A proggy is too lazy to change a law by going through the system.

There are times when there is probable cause to suspect someone of committing a felony or suspect them of being in the act of committing a felony.

So all people wearing a mask in public are under probable cause for committing a felony?

The justification for that is? I'm sure, again, you have empirical evidence?

Democrats freaked out over unmasking laws in the 1960s because they were all in the KKK.

Now Democrats freak out over unmasking laws in the 2010s because they're all anitfa terrorists.

The more things change the more they stay the same.

Depends on circumstance. If masked rioters are causing chaos and destruction, unmasking them could make them assess if their dumb arse actions are worth the potential consequences of being identified.

You know what would do this better? Arresting and prosecuting them.

And the bonus part is we don't have a law banning something just because of what might happen.

It's political intimidation with the inference that you cannot be identified.
