I’m surprised State has higher odds with a new HC honestly.

They are fairly loaded. They are typically underestimated (as they mostly should've been in the past). However, I think they are going to be really good this year.

So much talent. No reason we shouldn’t win 10 games. Here we come.

It all depends on the OLine and QB play.

Is Mississippi not even an option to make a bet on?

Fairly loaded in that they are ranked 25th in the nation based on talent whereas LSU is ranked 6th (you know, facts), or fairly loaded in that “well, they beat the shite out of us last year so they must be really good (even though they got their asses handed to them by every other team with a pulse)?

I’m not saying they are a “bad” team, but we need to stop this illusion some people on this board have about them being a more talented team than LSU when the FACT is, they were just a BETTER COACHED team last year. If they win again this year it will be BECAUSE THEY ARE BETTER COACHED, not because they have more talent.

Not based on composite talent ratings. Sorry, you don’t get to spread that lie here.

All of this. It seems pretty strange to me that Vegas is basically betting on their new coach being better in his first year than Mullen was last year.

That’s not how Vegas sets odds. They set odds based on how people vote versus how they can best guarantee they make a profit off that vote.

Vegas doesn’t give a shite who is actually the better team.
