Taking a short vacation with the wife and kids to Pensacola Beach 7/5-7/10. Obviously we will be doing some beach time but looking for some things to do that arent beachy as well. Definitely going to watch the Blue Angels practice and also hit up the Naval Museum. Any other suggestions? Ive read that their downtown area is real nice so any restaurant suggestions are appreciated as well.

Y’all can go for long walks on the beach.

Went there last week, wasnt impressed. Do not go to a place called Shaggy's unless you're prepared to pay a Ben for burgers. I'm naturally cheap and when the bill came for $98 for burgers n chicken strips I nearly passed out. And it's hot as a mofo in there with no windows, the bathroom is a sauna.

I’ll come swing by and Jody your wife while you’re at the beach with the kids.

Naval Museum is Free and and awesome time to spend a day. Might get to see the Blue Angels as well. If you feel like driving you can go to Mobile to see the USS Alabama as well.

Things to do: Aviation Museum, Blue Wahoos Game, Bands on the Beach
There's plenty to do.

Ft. Pickens dates back to the 1830s.
And fishing
And if the kids need to burn some energy, they have a water park and go-karts.

Bring some cheap styrofoam coolers, go to Joe Patty's and load up on some great fresh seafood, especially royal reds, tuna steaks, etc.

Get some sweet airbrushed t-shirts. Hose are classy and never go out of style.

The Naval museum is fantastic, and we also enjoyed visiting the lighthouse which is nearby.
We ate lunch outside at Jaco's and enjoyed it very much.
