Harley is about to get the double whammy from Trump's policies

Trump is attacking Harley accusing them of lying about tariffs hurting their business.
Reading the responses to his tweets, his supporters are now attacking Harley for lying on the President and vowing to boycott Harley.
So Trump imposes tariffs that results in Harley losing business, according to Harley. He then attacks Harley which leads to his supporters boycott the company.
If you're a private business and feels as though Trump's tariffs hurt business... It is in your best option not to say anything or Trump will try to destroy your business for making him look bad.
Just my opinion

Listened to Charles Payne on Fox; Harley sales dropped 12% last year. They are taking the money from the Trump Tax Cut and building a 200 Million dollar plant overseas. Just business. Of course, business has become political to varying degree; ask the Red Hen Restaurant.

The PUBLIC reaction is the very definition of free market. Boycott's over decisions by manufacturers/retailers are carried out by the CONSUMER, "the market".
POTUS has not passed a law against HD. And for your little itty bitty mind, POTUS cannot pass a law, that's the whole purpose and function of Congress.

Its an iconic American brand, with emphasis on American. I wonder how people will respond buying an American icon....made in Thailand.
Kind of like all the Auburn football games being played in Legion Field, or LSU playing all their games in the Superdome, would take the luster off just a wee bit.

Let me ask...how much per pound does Harley pay for steel? How much will it cost now buying American steel?
Now break that down per bike..does it raise the cost $5 per bike? $50? $100?
Point being, when I'm buying a $15k motorcycle, is that extra $100 gonna stop me?

Same with the Kansas CITy plant closure. This has been the planned for at least 8 months.
