1. Take the bleachers out and replace them with chair backs and move the bullpens off the field.
2. Build a bern where people can go and relax, though the games are at times not relaxing.
3. Get the ball girls some uniforms that are classy, not looking like they came from salvation army stores.
4.Extend the netting to the end of the baselines.
5. Clean up the dugout and tunnel area. They are a disgrace.
6.How about a visitors dressing room?
7. Get better lighting. Ours is ten years behind. You shouldnt see shadows at a night game.
8. Replace the dying grass with artificial turf. Its not that expensive.
Thats it for now.....more later.

Yep we should be leading not trailing. Bargain-basement Joe Alleva is the reason we lag.

I just got home and saw it in my email. I sent mine in and then came here to post about it, finding so many wonderful and sensible ideas here from the fans. After rating them negatively in many parts of the survey, I wrote this in the one comment box provided at the very end of the survey--

"Last question should have offered the choice to get rid of the old Alex Box Stadium bleachers and replace them with more comfortable/modern seating as well as moving to all chair back seating like that of the Grandstand.
Replacing those old bleachers should be the top priority! Until you do that, Alex Box Stadium will only be the fourth best stadium in the SEC--and it is falling fast as other schools (MSU) are making major improvements.

This is the most poorly designed survey I have ever participated in. There were no specific directions associated with your ratings scales or ranking scales. There was also no way for us to indicate that we do not care at all for one or more of the options you presented, since you are forcing us to rank each one of YOUR choices. You also failed to provide comment boxes in each part of the survey, choosing instead to only put this one comment box at the very end. This is all a farce because you clearly are NOT REALLY interested in what the paying season ticket holders have to say about improving the fan experience for us or you would have allowed for more open-ended responses. Also the yes/no/no preference choices for the parking permit options question do not even make sense. I cannot believe that the Athletic Department actually paid someone to create this poorly constructed survey! Actually, I can believe it because you are not really seeking fan input, ideas, or preferences. You are seeking data that you can manipulate to fit the agenda you have already set in place."

After reading the information on SEC stadiums and seeing the photos here, it seems we are way worse than fourth in the conference! I agree that we all need to air our criticisms in this forum and anywhere else that will bring attention to how far The Box has fallen.

I’m so glad our fans are admitting Alex box (not the fans) is overrated as frick. I’ve caught so much heat for shitting on it, but it’s not my faul skip went hilariously cheap when it was built

MLB and the minor leagues have already made it mandatory. It’s only a matter of time before it trickles down to college.

I know, but I don't have to like it. I sit behind a dugout. I am willing to take the risk.

Are you saying there is no visitors lockeroom like the old box?

If that is what he's saying, he is incorrect. Even the umps have their own dressing room.

I sat behind the visitors dugout for a game this year, and the opponent was heavy on left handed hitters. After that experience I'm all for the net. I felt uneasy after the second at bat featured a foul ball that went over my head, ricocheted off the stairs behind me, then shot back in my direction and landed two rows directly in front of me, I couldn't enjoy the game after that.

I respect your opinion and I know that the move is inevitable, but I see it as the pussificatijon of baseball. I've watched about 400 games from behind the visitors' dugout and I've never felt uneasy. I pay attention when a LH batter is at the plate.

Yeah I didn’t know for sure but assumed there had to be a visitors lockeroom. That was one of the biggest knocks on the old box.
