What's the Poli Board's honest feelings about this immigrant kids situation?

I've been doing a lot of reading about it trying to form a good assessment. I think it sucks that kids are being taken from the parents, but then I read that 10,000 of those kids were unaccompanied in the first place. I see no liberals commenting of the fact that the past few administrations did the exact same thing. Now, I must say, the babies and toddlers thing touched a soft spot. What's the official story on that?

What is happening at the border, not only once kids arrive but on everyone’s journey to the US, is an absolute tragedy. We need to build a wall QUICKLY as that is the only thing that will end this horror show.

Not sure why we cant find a way to send them back together.

Innocent people fleeing the lawless hellhole of Mexico, especially women and children, deserve comfort when we encounter them. Talking warm meals, a secure climate controlled place to rest, and health care. That’s what we are providing them. Prior to realeasing them, either in the US or back to Mexico, we must determine who they are and if they are dangerous. That includes determining if the adults who arrived with children are indeed their parents or guardians and if they are a danger.
8 years of catching and releasing people who we don’t know anything about has proven problematic and must end. The family detention center hellholes created the last 8 years, must end. Trump is just fixing the mess he was handed.

Warmed over horse shite is what it is...

I think we can all agree that we need common sense child cage control.
We obviously now know that the Dems have a strong preference for cage-free kids.
I guess the question is now: Do they prefer walls over cages?
These are the kinds of questions we should be asking.

It’s a fabricated issue for political reasons
Posted on 6/20/18 at 5:44 am to ArmyHogs
It’s fake outrage against Trump and his supporters manufactured by liberals. Their real agenda is protecting their child trafficking networks that have been crippled by the Trump administration, because of the numerous arrests and stings that have been made.

Pure propaganda. This outrage is so contrived it's laughable. This isn't even a story without the IG's testimony about the lies and misdeeds of our top law enforcement officials. Any of the brainwashed idiots stop and think why all of a sudden this is being reported on? Why hasn't a law been passed to prevent this? It's a coordinated attempt to preserve the Mueller investigation by deflecting attention from proceedings that could destroy it.

Disgusting and indefensible.

My official feelings are that the kids wouldn’t be in this predicament If their parents didn’t put them in it.
The kids are not being kept in Slave labor camps or horrid conditions. They are just being detained until the parents can be questioned and then are returned to them. No different than a single mother or father would be handled in a police investigation of a US citizen.
This issue is nothing more than an emotional last ditch effort by the media to paint trump and republicans in a bad light. Because of the economy’s success and what appears to be success in terms of international negotiations, emotional fluff stories is all the left has

I find the timing of this new "separation" uproar peaking at the same time as the IG's damning report very suspicious. Diversionary tactics at its finest.

Ok look at it like this.
You are on Safari. The guide tells you if you venture to a certain area, a lion will come take your child away. You chance it. A lion comes and takes your kid away.
Who exactly is to blame here?
What are we supposed to about criminals, sometimes female criminals, going to prison and being separated from their kids? Same scenario. Laws broken. Why is this not a concern?
People act like they are being marched by gunpoint to the border where they are forced to separate. But but but asylum from Central Americans!!11! They marched or rode trains the entire length of Mexico. They are not seeking asylum. They are seeking your tax withholding from your paycheck.

The standard of life in the US is far superior than that of most of the World; especially that of the collapsing Nations of South America and Mexico. Given the charitable Government Subsidies for poor people who crash our Border, 80% of the World's poor would like to come here.
So, the real issue is...how many poor, unemployable and Socialist-voting people do we allow? The Dems want those poor for their votes, and to further their "fundamental change"/Global Authoritarian Socialist Ideology. And in service to that (supposedly moral) End, they will utterly destroy the relative affluence and security of our own Nation.
The Good Lord said that "the poor will be with you ALWAYS"; "babys and toddlers" at the fore. The alternative is "Animal Farm", where we totally assume Top Down control of people's freedom, to choose beliefs and actions which create poverty. The very freedom to pro-create, if one's progeny are destined to be poor and afflicted. In (moral) essence, it is immoral/irresponsible/malfeasant for any *Government/Ideology* to allow poor/ignorant individuals to bring children into the World when such an act guarantees the suffering of said children.
As you can see, rational/moral examination gets very problematic, very quick. Jesus was right. The poor will indeed be with us "always"; and the dynamic of poor vs. prosperous will always carry the consequence of the 'Cain and Abel' scenario of Envy-based conflict.
Life - in the Physical Realm - is and always will be bittersweet, and essentially paradoxical, per the relative goodness of the Act of Creation (assuming God). The Opposite of any perceived Feeling or Thing, will necessarily (necessary evil) affect the whole. Knowledge can not change this; but it can change the Perceptive Experience (Subjective/Spiritual Reality) of those who enjoy the power of said Knowledge. "Ye shall know the Truth, and it shall set you free". Free from doubt, but not free from vicariously experiencing the suffering of the Brethren who are without.
You are right to bear the burden of "a soft spot".

Don't care. Come here legally and there won't be an issue. Why is this such a hard concept??
