Who are the Nephilim from the bible?

Offspring of fallen angels.
Genesis 6 refers to “Sons of God” taking wives. The offspring of these unions were the Nephilim.
The Bible only references “Sons of God” when talking about direct creations of the Father (Adam and angels) or Jesus.

Without googling...what were any of their names? And I have never heard one iota of a priest or preacher say the word in a service.

To put a somewhat finer point on it, this was the reason behind the worldwide flood. The Bible says Noah was perfect in his Generations. That does not mean he was a perfect man, but he was pure genetically from the corruption that had entered the human race via the Fallen Angels. In order to preserve the Christ line, the mutant genetics needed to be wiped out.

No names of the Nephilim or the specific son’s of God are referenced in the Bible.
It’s never been mentioned to me in a sermon either, but it’s certainly in the Bible. The late Chuck Misler does a very good explanation of the book of Genisis where he talks more in detail about them and how they were directed related to the subsequent flood. Basically says what NYCaLa is saying above.

I've listened to a lot of this stuff on youtube. LA Marzulli seems to be the expert on this. The nephilim are the offspring of angels and humans. They are giants like Goliath. God didn't like them so He sent the flood to wipe them out.
