While AD Alleva catches a lot of flack here from Tiger fans, his rewarding WAFB anchor Donna Britt the prized No. 18 LSU jersey for her years of service to the BR community deserves to be commended. Donna Britt is retiring due to having ALS, and cannot work any longer.

She has ALS and he gave her something to hang on the wall. It's a nice gesture, but we can hold off on the ball washing. It doesn't really mean anything.

I don't know. What he did to those Duke lacrosse players was not the work of a good man. He and the DA railroaded those kids despite ample evidence that they didn't do anything.
Go watch the 30 for 30 on that case. It'll make your blood boil. Why LSU gave this asshat a job is beyond comprehension.

Well, according to "insiders" on the Rant, he was already supposed to be gone. So much for folks with "sources".
Nonetheless, Alleva is just the angry fan's punching bag.
He doesn't even get credit for Wade because the Rant deemed that it was a Nunez hire. Nunez may have been the point person but it was Alleva who negotiated the deal and made the commitment to Wade for the resources Wade wanted. No coach accepts a job from an assistant AD.
