There is a reason he walked away, and it wasn't heart problems. He was close to getting fired.

Well the Orgeron haters would want him hired at LSU immediately if he's fired.

Ensminger knew he wouldn't have the freedom to be his own man as OC under Miles. It didn't matter who the OC was under Miles. He wasn't going to abandon the Bo Schembechler offense. Power I formation, 1 TE, and 2 WR's. Run 70% pass 30%! Miles had OC Gary Crowton the disciple of Lavell Edwards at BYU, OC Cam Cameron that ran a Spread Offense with Antwaan Randle-El at Indiana, and Miles had Mike Gundy as his OC at Okla. State. Miles' himself kept LSU's offense in the dark ages with the Schembechler Power I, even after hiring OC's on staff that could have spread the field.
Exactly. Etling left a lot to be desired as a starting QB. He struggled with the deep ball and never consistently mastered the intermediate throws of 10-20 yards down the field. His stats against Alabama just 12-26 137 yds 1 Int. I doubt any team will be able to just crowd the line of scrimmage to stop the run, and dare Burrow to complete passes over the top.
Please remember and honestly state that JBE inherited Alexander and Alleva from Jindal. Also, with expiring terms JBE is replacing the LSU board members appointed by Jindal.
The season is just 44 days away. Time to saddle up with Coach Orgeron and get this wagon train moving. The bandwagon is RSVP only, so make your reservation now. No room to get on board later when Burrow, and Aranda's defense start rolling over the opponents.

Who Remembers Leonards Losers?

I used to love hearing Leonards Losers every Saturday. Everyone picked the winner, but Leonard Postero picked the loser of each game. I loved hearing him say Leonards Loser "Mississippi State". Leonard passed away in 2001.
No. Just goes to show you that your coaching God, named Saban, can't walk on water.

Jimbo: A True Saban Clone

Fisher never would have been satisfied with being the HC at LSU. He wasn't satisfied at FSU, and was always was wanting more like Saban did at LSU. Saban kept flirting with going to the NFL 2002-2004, which hurt recruiting and got old with the fan base each year. Skip Bertman and LSU board had to then give him a raise each year to satisfy his ego. The truth is had Fisher came to LSU, LSU would have been faced with him going elsewhere as well.

I Love this Quote:

"I never had any intentions of leaving Florida State," Fisher said. "After (A&M athletic director Scott Woodward) contacted me, and I saw his vision and researched the resources at A&M, it was a no-brainer. There was an opportunity and a challenge here that I just couldn’t pass up."

The Truth:

I went to the LSU vs Tulane baseball game earlier this season. It was cold and windy, so I bought a cup of hot coffee and it was COLD. They made me a replacement cup, and it was just as COLD. It's bad when concessions workers can't even make a cup of HOT coffee.

The Orgeron tour needs to include stops in Shreveport, Ruston, West Monroe, Monroe, Sterlington, Bastrop, Rayville, etc. Especially sit down with the head coaches from Ruston High, West Monroe High, West Ouachita High, Ouachita High, Ouachita Christian High, Sterlington High, Richwood High, Carroll High, Wossman High, Neville High,Bastrop High, Rayville High, Winnsboro High, Caldwell High, etc. Coach O needs to spend 2-3 weeks with and around these programs along with their head coaches. Trust me, that Alabama coach is still on their speed dial.
LSU will go undefeated this season, and win the NC. Hey! You said to be bold.
No recruit is ever truly committed until they sign their letter of intent. Every school faces the fact that all recruits' verbal pledges are promises just waiting to be broken. That's why a HC should never go all in recruiting just one person for any position. (IE- Patrick Surtain Jr.) Get as many to sign as possible and let them compete to earn the position. In 2003, a Neville QB was being recruited by Saban. He wouldn't promise to not play MLB if drafted, so Saban kept recruiting other QB's. Saban wasn't going to allow a prospective player to alter his signing other QB's. The QB wasn't drafted and later went to Ole Miss because Saban had signed two other QB's(Jamarcus Russell and Matt Flynn).

Marcus Randall has hired Jill Craft to represent him in a lawsuit against the SU System board. This lady is a pitbull and once she bites she doesn't let go, and rarely ever loses a case. The SU Lab School, board, and the LHSAA is going to be taken to task, and have all their records opened up to some very public scrutiny.

Quote:
He knew then-LSU coach Les Miles was married 'til contract buyout do-us-part to the I-formation. He had plenty of film of the Tigers' returning offensive threats, including a running back sensation named Leonard Fournette.

There wasn't much guessing for Diaz in formulating a game plan.

Meaning: If Diaz could figure that out so could everyother DC in the SEC.

Bring on the the Ensminger Unknown Offense.

Matt Campbell has a $7 million buyout clause. Woodward would be a great hire for AD.

Because those folks want him gone, and I am wondering who they realistically think LSU could hire, as well be one they would love and support.
