Why is he linked with the Swedish flag?
I am pretty sure Sweden paid his dad to coach him and for his travel to all of the competitions. This is something the US would not have done.

Is he coming to LSU?
Sure is

And it’s the off- season for track to work on technique. No Worlds or Olympics this year.

Let’s not get carried away here. He may be the best pole vaulter in the world already, but he isn’t gonna win any other events at the NCAA level. He got dusted in the 100 at the state meet. Not a knock on the kid at all. Just slowing people’s roll here.

I don’t think he’s coming to be a sprinter.

I agree. I’m trying not to get too excited about Naz Reid coming to LSU.
Dude can’t play any other sports. Sucks at football and baseball. He’s only good at basketball.

so you're saying he is not good for 10 points in pole vault.
Gotcha
Gotcha

How do you get that from what I said?
I clearly said he may be the best pole vaulter in the world right now.
I was responding to the guy who was counting 28 points at the NCAA meet like it was an automatic.
He will be the favorite and likely win every meet he enters in the pole vault. I was simply responding to those who were saying he was national-level at multiple events.

I LSU scored 28 points this weekend with Mondo they would have scored 38 and finished 3rd. Hopefully they can find those 4x400 and 4x100 guys and win a national championship
The above was posted on page 1 and what I was referring to.

We have a lot of misunderstandings in here.

Another reason for big brother to stay another year!

Duplantis is 18 years old. What’s that age in metric?
Tell me his birthday and I will make the conversion for you.
It is quite easy. Divide the year by 10 instead of 12.
