Who do you think a tie goes to?
Burrow.

Lindsey Scott didn’t transfer until August last year.

Do you assume he is not most likely the best of the 4?
Strictly speaking of the 18 season.

You do realize that he outperformed the other two QBs in the spring right?

At this time, Burrow will easily beat out Brennan.
ETA: He may, but I wouldn't say easily beats out anyone at this point.

Best case scenario would be Burrow starting the next 2 years. Redshirt Brennan this year and get his weight up. Have McMillan as the backup with some packages for Narcisse.
Next year we’d have potential All-SEC Burrow with a year in this offense under his belt. RS Soph Brennan as backup physically ready to go and should also know everything there is to know about the offense. And same package stuff with Narcisse if that seemed to be effective.
Now good luck getting them all to buy in

I said McMillan's been INCONSISTENT. He had the best DAY in the spring game. That's 1 DAY. It really doesn't matter. This isn't much of a competition, as Burrow will EASILY beat out the 3 amigos. I'd say Burrow will clearly be the #1 by about the 2nd or 3rd day of August Camp.

My magical thinking scenario:
Burrow earns the starting spot. Plays the mentor for the younger guys.
McMillan is our backup in 2018. Plays whenever possible.
Narcissise gets as many reps as possible. Competes with McMillan for backup job. See if he takes the reins.
Brennan takes a redshirt in 2018 and enjoys BMOC status with the ladies and BULKS up and learns from Burrow . Bides his time and competes for starting position in 2019 , and becomes likely two year starter in 2020 and 2021.
Recruit a serviceable 2019 kid to go along with 2020’s TJ Finley.
Of course that will never happen.

First and foremost it tells me we have an idiot for a head coach who has totally screwed up the QB position since day one on the job. It tells me that Brennan has been through 2 head coaches, 3 offensive coordinators, 3 play books, 2 QB coaches in less than 12 months. It tells me that we have a head coach that can’t make a decision to save his life about what kind of offense he wants to run based on what kind of QB he wants to play and it tells me that our arse of a head coach will tell you, me, the media, his players and most importantly his QBs anything they want to hear just to be sure he doesn’t upset anyone and risk a transfer. Did I mention we have an idiot for a head coach?
Lay off of the crystal meth. 2 HCs and 3 OCs? Stop it. You didn't start bashing Orgeron until MB's future became less certain.

The Coach O idiocy has always been there. You have to agree with that. Yes I follow Brennan haven coached in MS and now recruit in MS. I recruit QBs so I get a good bit of inside info. The way the entire QB position has been handled by Orgeron is atrocious. He tells all the QBs the exact same story about how they are the guy and then thinks they don’t go back and talk. McMillian has been handled maybe the worst. He is RS junior who hasn’t played a lick of football for the Tigers and O keeps telling he’s the guy and will start all the while signing a transfer QB with the exact same eligibility as JustIn. Somebody is not being told the truth. At least Urban Meyer had the honesty to tell Burrow he wasn’t going to play in his system which helped the young man make a decision about his future.

Has McMillian technically graduated yet? I thought he had to get through summer classes first

And BTW Brennan was recruited and signed with Miles and Cameron. He was already working and learning the Cameron era play book = 1 HC and 1 OC.
Then Coach O is hired mid season and Ensminger named OC now Brennan is learning the SE play book = 1HC and 1OC.
Then O hires Canada and Brennan learns and plays in the Canada system. = 1 OC
Finally O fires Canada and rehires SE as OC
That adds up to 2 HC, 3 OC and 3 playbooks in less than 12 months.

I thought most transfers happen a week into fall camp

Confused here, you claim to recruit just Mississippi (obviously not for LSU) yet seem to know everything about the QB situation here, how do you know exactly what is being told to each QB on the roster at LSU? Secondhand rumors?

They have until late August so why leave now without even seeing the depth chart unfold.
Posted on 6/11/18 at 9:45 am to thunderbird1100
I never said I recruit only MS. I am originally from MS. I work with a recruiting service and yes we work close with LSU coaches and players. I don’t know everything but I know more than the average Joe and I do get to talk to players and coaches. So the only time I post something it’s because I know it to be fact. Come on you can’t be happy/satisfied with the way O has handled this offense since the day he took over. This atest move will play out in due time as well. One way or another.

Cajun Catfish = Bill Conides

I know Bill as I know most HS coaches in this region, but no. BTW Conidies is not from MS he is from somewhere up north.
