I’m looking to get a picture framed for my dad of the old Brass Rail Bar in Baton Rouge and have had no luck in Google. Anyone have any tips, suggestions, or even pictures?

I have no pics, but I saw Bonnie Rait and David Allen Coe there in 1976. It was a great bar.

There’s an FB group called Old Images of Baton Rouge. Maybe ask there. People in it have all sorts of random-arse pics from BR throughout the yesteryears, so you may have some luck.

Wasn't it across the street from the something horse bar? Off of Highland right before the Regina and University square, mall. Fridays 25 cent bourbon drinks till 8 I believe. Good times.

I saved you some time. Your father will love it.

If my daughter brought me a framed photo of a bar I would take a shite on it. Get your old man something cooler, like a stripper.
