Anti-trump protests have happened. OSU even has a bias response unit where triggered kids can report one-sided biases to. There was chalked in front of dorms one time "Build the wall" and it got reported, erased, and university made a statement not to be offensive.

Don't get me wrong as more of a primary STEM school the student body has a lot of conservatives and/or closet-conservatives. But, the faculty and admin is overwhelmingly liberal as most colleges are. And, Oregon as a whole is pretty conservative despite what you might think or view from voting. Portland has the largest say in Oregon voting for democrats but it is a skewed population representative.

Need to do an experiment at the school. Give an account that DT diddled his niece when he was 15 years old and put out flyers for people to attend a rally against DT. Then when they show up say sorry we got it wrong we actually gave you an account of what a student athlete actually did at Oregon State that got absolutely no punishment from the administration and is still representing our school.

And One of the West Memphis 3 admitted to killing and sexually mutilating 3 young boys. We now know it was a false admission of guilt.
I’m not saying he is innocent but it is possible that he is. I know people are hung up on the “he admitted it” thing and if taken at face value, it does look bad. The fact is, none of us know the full details of the case. He could have been offered a plea deal that had the stipulations that he would never have to register as a sex offender and the case would be sealed (which is actually known to be part of the case) and was told by his lawyer to take the deal because had it gone to court, and he was found guilty, it could have meant going on the sex offender registry for life.
Now, put yourself in his place and know that you are innocent. Would you take the risk of going to court knowing you could have to go on the registry for the rest of your life vs taking the plea deal and all of it just “go away”?
