“There’s no question today’s job report is good news, including the news that we’re as closest we’ve ever been to full employment in the black community,” Lemon conceded before asking, “But what’s full employment without full respect?”

If Lemon wasn't black and a queer, he's be bagging groceries somewhere.

What's respect without a job?
Posted on 6/3/18 at 8:51 am to SDVTiger
Donald Trump has made black unemployment a key issue since his election. If that isn't a sign of respect, what is?
Posted on 6/3/18 at 8:52 am to SDVTiger
Gotta keep that "victim" mentality going...
Posted on 6/3/18 at 8:53 am to SDVTiger
The race pimp assholes NEED to have black people be resentful.
What the Hell else does someone like Don Lemon have to offer other than whining about how tough it is being black?

I wish someone, anyone would press people like Lemon for specifics when they make this vague, outlandish assertions.

A tweet like “I have enormous respect for the black community. Two reason it isn’t higher is I have no respect for Don Lemon or Maxine Waters.” would be funny.

You get respect by being responsible, contributing members of society. High employment rates are a big step toward that

He talks about respect but the current president has spoken openly regarding black unemployment specifically more times in the last 2 years than Obama has done in his lifetime

Alert neutrality is what we should give people. Only give respect when earned. Listen to Every one respect very few

So prior they were just kind of lazy and not working by choice but don has stirred their souls and now they are motivated and respectable? Or are they getting new opportunities not previously available?

Ok, how is that measured?
If it can’t be measured, it can’t be solved.

Respect is earned, not given.
I respect those who show they care about what they do, regardless of the job. In my line of work, skin color and genitalia don't matter. All that matters is whether you can do the job with a good attitude. Everything else just gets in the way.

It means he is aware of the good things Trump has done, but since it goes against the lies they have told the past 18 months, the sheeple must but into a new narrative.
Progressives MUST keep the victim mentality going any possible way they can. It is literally all they have left. The see it slipping away now and are scared shitless.

Last night I was actually watching CNN, flipping channels.. and there was a special called “1968” on. Obviously it was a huge point in counterculture and free speech, and all that. But one of the things that jumped out to me that they talked about. One - that “Night Of The Living Dead” came out, and there were these 2 African Americans commentators who both thought the killing of the lead character (a black man) was a euphemism for the white people killing black people. And two - about how during the 1968 Olympics, those 2 sprinters stood on the podium after winning gold and silver and raised a fist.
But here we are 50 years later, and there’s a machine virtually in place to keep them down. To keep them from ever rising above, and they so eagerly beat that drum.
Even after Barack Obama has been president. But...but Kanye says something positive about Trump and he’s turned on.
It’s a narrative that I honestly think will never pass in my lifetime, nor my children’s. And that is so very sad to me.
