I agree completely with a caveat. My best friend growing up began to get stoned regularly with his Dad at age 13. It fricked him up for a lifetime. That’s why you have to have some kind of ground rules, because for every legitimate situation there is another case of child abuse via drug use. This is the kind of thing a prosecutor should just throw out.

I'm not sure how this is relevant. I don't think anyone advocates for recreational marijuana use for minors.

If it’s established that they were legitimately letting him smoke pot for seizures, this case should probably be dismissed and the parents educated on the ingredients in pot which are therapeutic for their son.

Correct. Unfortunately I don't have that much faith in our legal system.

Although now that this has made national news it could be a political nightmare for the prosecution to NOT throw it out.

That's one good thing about the internet. It brings these things to light and at least has the potential to put pressure on people to do the rectify the situation since everyone is watching.
