Any courses worth playing other than TPC or English Turn?

I’ve heard Lakewood is in good shape. Bayou Oaks is punching today and so is ET. TPC is in perfect shape and has the best greens around.

Audubon Park is always my recommendation. It’s a unique experience, it’s relatively cheap, only takes 3 Hours to play, it’s a lot of fun and the setting is pretty awesome. It’s usually in great shape as well. The porch outside the club house is the best “19th hole” in the city for drinks after the round. None of the other courses in close proximity to NOLA will give you anything you couldn’t get in Florida or elsewhere in the South East. If you’re doing 2 or more rounds in NOLA, Audubon should be one of them.

City Park and Bartholomew are worth a look IMO

And like he said above me, Audubon is always fun

If I'm playing golf, I want to play golf. Audubon is in good shape, but I don't want to pay $50 to play essentially a par three course. Just my opinion, though. I guess if youve never played it, I get it as it is in a unique setting, but one time was good enough for me.

You can. Greens were punched the weekend before last as someone said. Played Saturday and they are coming around pretty good.

Yep, that’s where I’d play if in Nola at the moment.

Yea.

South course is new and much nicer.

North course was an extreme goat ranch. It’s actually improved a good bit with the new management group though.

I think I shot like 73 so not too bad. Again, if you r never played it it's neat, but it's just not my cup of tea. If that guy isn't from New Orleans and has never played there it's at least worth mentioning to him it's a par 61 (I think)

BTW.... TPC is in excellent shape with the greens rolling around 12. Damn subtle breaks on the greens kill me!

It’s a Par-62. You get to hit 6 drivers and have 12 par 3’s from Wedge to hybrid. It’s a fun place especially if you have plans for dinner or going out cause it doesn’t beat you to hell. Or if you have higher handicappers in your group especially. Just such a cool, laid back vibe, and a beautiful place. My golf league just added a second annual event there to our schedule because the guys like playing it so much. I’ve never left there and felt like I didn’t play a round of golf.
