So he wants the USPS to become a lender? We all know what that means - loans that are never paid back, never collected. It would be as bad as, or perhaps worse than, the student loan problems.

Yeah. Let’s use tax money to open a bank to the poors. There’s a reason banks refuse some people.
Giving unqualified people credit worked so well in the past. They made the housing market absolutely boom a decade ago.

You idiots go deposit your money with the government. When you find an IOU from Congress, let me know so I can point at you and laugh. If these plan details sound familiar, it’s because the government already scammed you in the same way and called it Social Security.
