Johnathan Sullivan imo.
Reggie bush help win a Super Bowl, so I say Rickey was the bigger disappointment

Sullivan. We gave up 2 1st round picks for him.

We traded the 17th and 18th overall picks to move up for Sullivan

quote:I don't get the Bush hate from our fan base. He won a super bowl and was an exciting player to watch. He helped rejuvenate the franchise after Katrina. Anyone who thought he could do what he did at USC consistently at the NFL level, had unreasonable expectations. I wouldn't pick anyone else at #2 in that draft.
Also, who was more disappointing - Ricky Williams or Reggie Bush?

Not only did he suck but we traded up for him.

Neither was a disappointment. Reggie was a key player on a Super Bowl winning team and Williams was solid for us his entire career.

1: Why are we having this thread now?
2: Why is Reggie basically hated on? Sure, he wasn't quite god-level like he was in college. But he was very good and helped win us our only superbowl. Suck it. What we gave up for indecisive Ricky says Ricky was by far the bigger disappointment.

Sullivan is the biggest bust of all time.
Ricky and Reggie both had their peaks and valleys - can’t really choose between them.

Bush was very good for the Saints

Al Woods, Stanley Jean-Baptiste

Stephen Anthony, and Russel Erxlaben

Given what we gave up for Ricky, I would say he should be considered.

This is the top one on my list.
There was a running back that the Saints traded up for...I think into the second or third round..The Saints ended up cutting him in training camp..WHAT IS HIS NAME?

Shawn Knight was the worst player. Jonathan Sullivan was the most expensive bust because of the high price we had to pay for him. Russell Erxleben was the most ridiculous pick. I am old enough to remember the pick that set the tone for draft futility - Les Kelly.

I know there's the punter guy, but I nominate Alex Molden.
