You may have been excited after the Arkansas game with Jennings. I was not.
He was inaccurate all game long, then threw the ball as far as he could and the Wr ran a fly route and was able to get to the ball and make the catch.
No reading of the defense, no looking off a defender, no pinpoint accuracy.

I’m going to say though that it isn’t a forgone conclusion that Butrows would lose the QB battle. But he is a 4th year player and it would be much harder to lose it in the fall and then transfer.
He made a business decision. He has 2 years to play football he can risk losing one.

Urbans loss is our gain. Burrow fits our system really well. Some one said we hit a gold mine I truly believe we did in Burrow. I also truly believe besides Burrow we got a lot of excellent new talent. O can recruit he learned a lot on the West Coast. I haven't been this excited about Football in a while. RIP Billy Cannon. He died the weekend Burrow said yes. What if he is our Second Heisman Winner.

In response to the OP, I have a buddy who lives in Ohio and is a huge Ohio St fan, says the same thing. Was not happy with Urban for letting him walk. Said he was easily the best QB on their roster. Unproven really in games, but huge potential. Told me LSU hit the jackpot and we should be very pleased.

Cardell Jones with much better accuracy. When Haskins signed with Ohio State, Urban described him as the most advanced high school QB he had ever seen. So Haskins seems to have a higher ceiling.
Insiders claim that both Haskins and Burrow are potentially one and done.

Interesting since Jennings came into the game with about 6 minutes left in the 4th quarter and only threw 7 passes (completing 4).
