It’s incredibly naive and asinine to think that all 3 other QBs will stay. Brennan won’t be able to redshirt, mainly because he’ll be needed as a backup. Burning his redshirt last year was a huge mistake.

In hindsight. Did you know Burrow would be coming to LSU?
If Burrow wouldn't have come and Brennan would be the starter with ZERO game experience you would probably be the first to make a thread saying how dumb Orgeron is for not giving Brennan playing time last season.

Only way I see this happening is if McMillan transfers and Narcisse is named backup.

The Miles black cloud of QB negativism is gone.
I'm looking for Burrow to have a great season, turn Pro, leaving the baton to Brennan and Narcisse.
All this crap about transfers is just more black cloud mentality.
I doubt many freshmen QBs believe they are going to step on campus and lead the team. They have to earn it and they know it.

I miss seeing LSU go for the win, multiple 4th downs.. when they could have played for the tie.. and I love the idea of a package for a running QB..
I miss the 2007 LSU team very much. I hope we can get the balls that team had and have a package for LN like a Perrilloux or freshman Tebow when he had Leak as a Senior I believe.

It's pure speculation to think that any will transfer at this point. McMillan is the main candidate, but what if O tells him that Brennan is redshirting and he's the #2? Would that be enough to keep him?

We have lots of games SELA, LA Tech, Rice, and any big lead SEC games where he could get significant playing time, but if Burrow takes the reigns, MB would only have on year as a senior to play. Perhaps a red shirt is not out of the question if wants two years as the starter.

I agree that Brennan needs more time and should redshirt. Guy has tried like crazy to gain weight but it just going to take him more time. Which gives him more time to develop in other areas as well. And, its not like his family is in a rush to get to the NFL ;-)

It s not out of the question that one of the three will start some games this year, particularly near the end of the season. People overstate the case of ineptitude among our existing QB's.

Brennan earned those reps by winning 2nd string. The starting position is STILL up for competition and Brennan’s game experience helps his cause. Last year intent of playing him was obviously giving them the best chance to win if ETling went down. Burrows or any 2018 transfer was no guarantee and LSU would only have Brennan’s game time going into this season.
