I know y'all can savor the true nature of the IPAs much better in the "real" environment of wobbling chairs and rotting spools.

I can honestly say the chair I am sitting in has never altered my tastebuds.
Maybe I am drinking my beers wrong.

Just not a big deal. If I can get my wife to hang with me there I know all is good.

I have never been to Courtyard due to their no kids policy
I fully support their right to make their own rules, but I wonder if it is the right buisness decision for a craft brewery
I would think age 30-45(alot of parents in this age range) is their biggest clientele, and I would say it is mainly people who want to enjoy drinking good beer and not get hammered.
ETA: Im an idiot. Im thinking of Bayou Beer Garden

I've brought my kids there. The school cafeteria chairs make them feel at home.

Last time I was there about three weeks ago I sat my beer on one of those damn spools. My friend went to sit down in one of the shitty chairs and his foot bumped the spool and it tilted spilling my beer all over the place.
That kind of stuff isn't going to keep me away, but the damn temps from June thru September sure as well will.

And he was giving me crap about Mothers Day lol

I enjoy the vibe/atmosphere of Courtyard.

Anyone who has spent time at courtyard probably has similar stories. Doesn’t bother me, but I can see how people can be uncomfortable
And they’re definitely not anti-kids. My 1 year old is a VIP guest...though his inclination to eat gravel is making it difficult to bring him lol

Don't bring him to Port Orleans side yard. I have a large collection of limestone that fell out mines clothes when we got home.

I wouldnt but nice things for drunks who end up tearing shite up and breaking my glasses.
Barrelproof tried to have a nice rug until that shite disappeared one night.

Will he have a place to sit and enjoy the beer that consists of something other than rickety middle school cafeteria chairs, rotting industrial spools, and 10'x10' square of broken uneven brick?
Y'all sure do complain a lot about inconsequential stuff.

I love the spools, makes it unique plus he has a sweet van

I like when the pig farmer shows up to get spent grain and ogles cute young professional girls from across the spool.
