With Burrow all pistons are firing. Hang on for the ride. This season is going to be good.

I couldn't find any other Burrow threads to post this in either...

Potentially. I think the true missing piece is a QB developer.

Here’s to hoping we land Burrow

I agree with you 100% but I’m scared we are setting ourselves up for a historic melt if he chooses not to come. I keep telling myself to let it play out but I even find myself getting excited about him coming. All this to break our hearts if it don’t happen.

I'm an OSU grad and a huge Buckeye fan. I would never have imagined rooting for an SEC team, but I'm also going to be a huge LSU fan if Burrow makes the decision to join the Tigers as will half of the state of Ohio. For sure, TV ratings will jump if he starts for LSU as we'll all be watching up North.

I honestly hope so.

I’ve said all along I’m just tired of the excuses. If O can’t get us to a NY6 bowl with HIS OC (second one), HIS WR and OL coach, and HIS QB, plus the best DC in the country that he was gifted from his predecessor, then GTFO and bring in the next guy with an offensive pedigree that can.

No more excuses. Come save the day, Joe. Either way.

This!

Coach O has done a masterful job of filling the teams immediate needs. He rebuilt the lines with big uglies along with the defense front seven. Acquired an experience DB from Stanford. QB is the missing link. If he gets improved QB play, it will be a fun year!

I would like to see what he can do here, so I'm gonna throw out my best rally/good luck gifs.

You guys are setting yourselves up for an historic melt no matter what.

He's career backup who couldn't crack the starting lineup at OSU.

What if he comes and doesn't crack it at LSU?

If he comes, great. Hope he makes the team better, but putting all of your hopes on this guy to lead LSU to the promised land is just stupid.

There’s a lot of people around here desperate for a savior. I wouldn’t expect this much from Tom Brady. Denial...false sense of security (if Burrow actually comes)...idk exactly how to categorize it, but either way it’s a SAD state of affairs that is LSU football. The addition of one POTENTIALLY solid QB and all of a sudden LSU is free of the stink that has become a rotting football program.

You sound like Norman Dale from Hoosiers. Burrow is no Jimmy Chitwood.

Don’t worry. Even if the kid came to LSU and started, after the first turnover the mass idiots will be hollering for the back up to play for the rest of the season.

I believe that it will be a good thing if he says yay or nay. Imo it’s gonna motivate our other qbs even if he says no.

Exactly, the guy could not beat out JT Barrett, admittedly a very good QB but if Burrow was all that he would have challenged imo
