This shite has to stop. I hesitate to say it should be a crime falsely accuse somoene of bad behavior, but on the other hand these folks are ruining careers in many cases.

If we define “we” as being “every speeder in America,” then I will agree with her.
Sure, the officer could have done a few things better from a communications perspective, but he was neither rude, condescending nor blatantly racist.
For example, he could have explained that the signature is simply a means of providing evidence that she received a copy of the ticket.
He was wrong when he said that she was REQUIRED to sign the ticket. He could have explained that the signature is actually a courtesy, to avoid the necessity of arresting every speeder and immediately taking them before a magistrate.

Yep, I was shocked and pleased to see a posted sign for 75 mph on a two-lane road in Texas.
Yet it's mostly 65mph on the interstate between Beaumont and Houston.
