Picking up random items - Robert.

It has taken forever and a day, but I was in there over the weekend and it is really coming together. It will be my go to when I move. Much nicer than Rouses.

HEB or Kroger. It just depends which is more convenient that day. HEB most of the time these days.

HEB isn't everywhere.

Produce: Sprouts or Tom Thumb
Meat: Sprouts, Sam's, Tom Thumb, Whole Foods, or Central Market
Household stuff and non perishables: Target
Alcohol: Spec's

Probably...

80% Publix
10% Sams
10% Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, or Sprouts.

Central market is still the shite.

But Dallas is one of the toughest markets for a new grocer to enter. I guess they prefer to open Central market instead. 2 more should be going up soon in uptown and McKinney.

Wal Mart because it's cheap as shite
Trader Joes because it's awesome
Rouses for Misc stuff and lunch meats
Langensteins for specialty stuff
Breaux Mart for steak (tri-tip all day)
Sams

Between the wife and I, usually hit at least three or four of these every week unfortunately.

All over.

Fruits and veggies from Red Stick Farmer's Market and Southside Produce.

We buy a lot of meat from Iverstine Butcher.

The rest ends up being a combination of Calandro's, Rouse's, Whole Foods and sometimes Albertsons.

I buy the vast majority of mine at the fresh market.

Same.

Sometimes I'll go to Whole Foods if Fresh Market doesn't have what I want/need. Third would be Target, if we need other household items that are not found at Fresh Market or Whole Foods. This is mainly due to location, but I do prefer those stores to Walmart or the like.

I'll occasionally go to Rouses, but only if it's on the way to somewhere else that I'm already going to or coming back from.

it's honestly surprising to me HEB hasnt taken over the metroplex yet given how successful they are everywhere else.

Winn-Dixie
Rouse's
Dorignac's

I'd say I've done 99% of my grocery shopping at those 3 over the last few years.

For those that live in Chicago, I'll typically go to Jewel-Osco on Desplaines, Trader Joe's on Clybourn, or Mariano's in New City.
