Yeah, he's a little slow in his release in this photo.

I just noticed, Frank Ryan in the Browns uniform?

Is #15 Earl Morrall?

No, #15 started for the Detroit Lions in 1961.

He hung around the league as a backup. He later held the clipboard for Sonny Jurgensen in Washington.

Hint: he spent one season in New Orleans during the Saints' early years.

No.

Like #15 for Detroit, this guy spent most of the 60's as a backup. He spent time with the Lions and the Rams.

No, but to give you a hint, this Redskins qb would swap uniforms with a guy in the front row in a big 1964 trade.

Ahh that must be George Izo. I know he eventually was traded to the Lions around the middle of that decade.

Was this picture taken after they retired? Everyone, especially #14, looks like they're 50 years old.

One of my favorite quotes from Sonny, as a reporter commented on his gut at the beginning of the year, “ I throw with my arm, not my belly, the beer stays.” He was a well known beer connoisseur.

Let him play today with rules where wide receivers can't be touched and a flag drops if the quarterback is touched--instead of 60s rules where a defender could beat the shite out of a WR until the ball was in the air and quarterbacks were fair game to be hit-no "sliding"--

and that guy would set records that would dwarf Drew Brees and Tom Brady.

You would also have to put him against the speed of today's secondary and linebackers along with the speed and size of the Dline.

Whoops sorry.

You said 14, who is indeed Etcheverry, who started for the St. Louis Cardinals in one of their first seasons in STL.

I was thinking Dawson, so thinking #16, who is Norm Snead, the Redskins' starter in 1961.

He was traded to the Eagles for Jurgensen in 1964.
