DirecTV's new graphics

Anyone else get this update recently?

Ever since the update, I keep getting 771 signal loss messages. They literally won't go away. I've checked cables, obstructions, etc. I also did a reset of all the boxes. It's starting to become frustrating.

I was getting that for a couple days when they released the new software but I stopped. My boxes seem to have become slower though. And for some reason they pulled my hbo off my account when I just renewed it 2 weeks ago and also somehow screwed up my online account to where I can’t log on and pay the bill...

was this the quick reset? probably going to have to do the hard reset from inside settings. Will lose everything recorded, but I had to do that a couple of times over the years when nothing else would work. I would get the signal loss message for tuner 1.

It's probably only a temp fix though, tbh.

Super slow now and the remote is no where near responsive. They should give us the option to roll back to a previous model.

I did both a soft and hard reset. The response time is slow as hell too.

I'm affraid AT&T is finally starting to screw DirecTV up

I don't like the new interface and the refresh rate is very show. It was a bad update.

Is this for newer boxes with Genie, only? I have older boxes and have received no notification that there is an update?

I'm on the phone with DirecTV right now. They say the 771 error is happening to a lot of people because of the update.

They WILL roll you back to the old graphics/interface if you ask them.

It's pissing me off. Their is no signal loss lol. I'm able to watch TV perfectly fine behind the message. I've tried everything DirecTV says.

I’m not getting an error code, but my box is much slower than before.

Unfortunate, since I like the new graphics.

They rolled out the new guide over the last few months. I was one of the early ones who got it in late 2017. I hated lots of things about it, but it was nice that the channels on the guide had network logos that made them easier to spot.

The pricks took that feature off (at least on mine) a couple weeks ago, and it is slower than ever. The stripped down no-graphics should be faster if anything.

Sad. They should be doing everything they can to please customers and slow down cord cutting, but they keep stepping on their own dicks.

Same here. I really like the look and layout of the new interface except it is slow as shite and doesnt respond to the remote consistently
