I prefer the Bama plan. Lose the west and go straight to the playoff

Win the SEC West and not because everybody else has suddenly turned into shite.

Improvement in the passing game, and offensive gameplay in general. We have way too much talent at WR, RB, and TE to not play pitch and catch eating up chunks of yardage.

Obviously beating Bama because you don't win the West without doing that.

If he did it in a year where we will have UGA, an improved Florida on the road, good Miami team, Bama, a good Auburn team on road, and decent Miss St team, then he deserves tons of praise.

Half of the Neg-O's would not be satisfied with this. Reason I say this is that I know people who hated Miles the whole time he was here...

What he promised.

Improvement to the Les Miles era in record and game play.

Competing for National Championships.

Coach 0 has earned his ire by squandering the opportunity we had with a weak SEC to have a legit shot. Now all those teams went out and got real coaches, so we'll see where that goes for us and our waterboy coach.

I was in the 'give him a shot' camp last year but not after the decline in everything from recruiting to having the team prepared to play. I just wonder how bad it has to get before the cheeri0's will admit that maybe he has doomed the program.

Offense:
the QB & WRs have to do better than average & "click". Don't have to run the spread, don't have to have a 3000 yd passer and do not care about formations (do care about play calls however). Prove to me that Ensminger wasn't a buddy and/or lazy hire. The Sullivan hire is also wrapped into this.

OL: have high hopes for Cregg, and want to see improvement but I don't have to see a 180, just signs that Cregg is influencing the individual OL to develop (e.g. Deculus doesn't have to be an all world starter, but he better be an effective-to-very effective depth at least). Don't care if he didn't recruit them; OL recruiting has improved, there's some upside there: give me some of that upside.

Offense: score TDs in the redzone. I want to see play selection get broader, no narrowed down.

Defense: Let's see Shelvin and Fehoka be beasts. DBs better not suck (since he fricked up the recruiting with no plan B). Bring those young studs like Phillips and Chaisson along.

Do all that AND:
2nd place finish in the W: I'm back on the fence and not down on him.

Win the West, I'm convinced the trajectory has changed and not only were the personnel coaching decisions good ones, but utilized effectively.

Most will support him if he is successful. A handful of shitty posters will disappear or create alters.

The real question is, if you are looking to maintain a championship caliber program, what, if anything, sold you on Orgeron?

And most importantly, how are we defining “successful” these days?

Trick question - there’s nothing he can do to turn them around. They’ve disliked him since before he was hired.

Better question - What made you think Ole Miss’s worst coach ever was the man for the LSU job?

Stop pissing on my leg and not only telling me that it’s raining but that I shouldn’t complain.

Gene Chizik won a National Title was he a good coach? Mike Archer went 10-1-1 and finished #5 his first year was he a good coach? I don’t make my judgement based on 1 season or worse beating a specific team. Winning and beating good teams would be a start but he’ll have to show me he is capable of sustaining a high level program and that takes time

Apparently, you guys don't even know, which tells you that you are in the group I was describing.

In other words, you’re not willing to go on record so it’s easier to shift goalposts later.

Not when you dodge the question to start with. I know what I need to know about you already though, so it's all good.
